"Rosebud Lane is primarily about my love of the cinema. It's narrative arc is about a father connecting with his young son through a shared vocabulary of film appreciation. I wrote the film to take place in the small BlueRidge Mountain town of Hendersonville, North Carolina, where my late grandmother lived for most of her life. I dedicated this film to my "Granny," she was a strong, independent woman who raised my mother to follow suit. I have great affection for the Appalachian Region people so it was a dream come true for me when they rolled out the red carpet and welcomed us to shoot in their small town. This film was made with a lot of heart.
